I’ve given my SGS2 to my brother after his phone has broken down. As such, I will have very minimal interactions with Android.

- The tablet-UI taskbar at the bottom was a change but not practical as it is close to the soft-keys and home button. I’ve changed it back to the top.
- I like quite a lot of the new interfaces for the apps like calculator and contacts. I think those fit a large screen better.
- I experience some lag in scrolling for Chrome and I have no idea if it is the Rom or ICS 4.0.4.

According to the post, notable things not working are Wifi, Camera and Audio and a lot more. I’ll wait till a more stable version or CM10.

I was getting used to CM9 on SGS2 and enjoying the ICS experience until I installed 1 game, 100 Levels, and my battery dropped 39% overnight.

the wow factor is already gone after using the iPhone 4 for so long. With that said, I tried out a display set and the huge screen is desirable and the size is manageable using a single hand for me.

My brother just got the One X and here are my impressions of it after using for a while:
- screen quality is awesome. No pixels can be seen.
- phone is bigger in size. After going back to SGS2, it felt small.
- screen is not as responsive as SGS 2
- seems like the stock Sense launcher is not fully utilising the bigger screen estate as with 4 rows of icons in home-screens, you can see huge gaps between the rows. I wanted to drag some icons to the gap before realising it is not an icon row. This is easily remedied by using other launchers in the Play store.

The Tumblr app is actually better than the iOS counterpart now. There is no issue with editing posts like the iOS version where the cursor cannot stay stationary. The layout is also different and it may be to benefit a larger screen.

I’m currently using the latest and it is running well so far. It’s also the first ICS Rom on SGS2 that can show up as a USB storage device on my comp.

The phone shape is exactly what the blue pebble posters teased. I find Android devices unveiling to be mainly focused all about the phone device specs.
